The 'Get Hired 09' graduate recruitment fair took place on Friday 5th June at the International Centre for Life, Newcastle upon Tyne and was a huge success for both employers and graduates. 30 businesses from around the region attended in a search for talented graduates. With over 450 graduates leaving with new and improved CVs, invaluable careers advice, some great contacts and hopefully that all important new job!
Claire Young made a guest appearance at the fair, sharing her tips for success and insider secrets from The Apprentice.
Additional 'Jobs Kitchen' vacancies received a phenomenal response, all graduates who applied will hear from the Graduates for Business team soon.

The Event
TThe 'Get Hired 09' graduate recruitment fair funded by One North East and the European Regional Development Fund, the fair is aimed at supporting the efforts of Entrust and its Graduates for Business programme to promote jobs and opportunities for graduates in the North East.
The main focus of 'Get Hired 09' was to match talented graduates with small to medium sized businesses in the region. Hundreds of graduates came along, spoke to 30 companies and discussed potential vacancies.
